The 2024-2025 teacher of the year for North Windy Ridge School is Kathleen Kitt, a teacher of exceptional children. Mrs. Kitt was nominated and voted on by school staff.
Mrs. Kitt has also been recently chosen for the NC Educator Excellence award for teaching Exceptional Children. This award is given by NC Department of Public Instruction and the NC State Board of Education.
