Dear Parents and Students,

It is with excitement that we begin the 2022-23 school year.   We had a wonderful year last year, both academically and socially.  Our student population of around 515 students this year is ready for the challenges of the 21st century.

I realize the importance of positive working relationships between community and school. In my opinion there is nothing more important that we can instill in young people than a love for learning and a sense of pride and respect for family, school and community.

It is my expectation that the upcoming school year will be a successful one for all NWR students and staff. One where each student is a valued individual with unique physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs.

The door is always open to parents, students, staff and community members who desire to share concerns or ideas to help the school prepare our fifth and sixth graders to become contributing members of the 21st century. I want to thank you in advance for your support of NWR Intermediate School.

I look forward to working with you this year!
