Colorful paper, markers, and words of encouragement filled the spaces as A.C. Reynolds High School’s Sources of Strength peer leaders spread a little holiday cheer across Big Green Country.

The student leaders set up holiday card-making stations, inviting classmates to slow down, get creative, and make a card for someone special in their life. Whether the message was meant for a family member, a friend, a teacher, or someone who could use a little extra kindness, each card became a personal reminder of connection and care.

Sources of Strength peer leaders helped students choose supplies, brainstorm messages, and reflect on the importance of reaching out - especially during a busy and sometimes stressful time of year. The activity aligned with the program’s mission of building healthy relationships, fostering hope, and strengthening bonds within the school community.

By turning a simple craft into a meaningful moment, the peer leaders created space for gratitude, reflection, and joy - proving that even a small gesture can have a powerful impact during the holiday season.
