Virtual Days Schedule:
Here's the flow for math during our virtual days:
9:00 I will post the lesson, practice problems and cool down via Assistments so you can work and respond digitally as well as IXL tasks . I hope to also share video of me dictating notes.

Zoom sessions for face to face time to ask questions and get support held at specific times for all blocks:
9:15-10:00 Block 1
10:15-11:00 Block 2
11:15-12:00 Block 3

Please check in during the Zoom session for attendance and support. You may also email anytime and we will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.

We will see about posting answer keys to check in on misconceptions and misunderstandings. Please have a writing utensil and paper to work on during the Zoom session.

About me:
I am a graduate from the University of Wisconsin- Madison, where I studied sociology and philosophy. After moving to North Carolina, I became involved with Americorps, where I worked as a math tutor in Asheville City Schools and ran an after school enrichment program for at-risk students through the YMCA. After that experience I decided that teaching was what I was meant to do. I applied to be an assistant at Isaac Dickson Elem. and enrolled in the teacher licensing program at the University of North Carolina- Asheville. The 2013-2014 school year was my first year as a classroom teacher, and I'm so glad that it was at NWR! I live in Weaverville with my wife Cat, our 3 year old son, Rainan (born 2.26.16), and our dog Charlie.
